Samui Snake Farm
Review of Samui Snake Farm, Thailand by daylehall

Advantages: cheap entrance, interesting
Disadvantages: A little out of the main town

Myself and my boyfriend visited Samui Snake Farm while on holiday in Ko Samui in October 2007. Getting There Samui Snake Farm is located in the south west of Ko Samui so you would need to take public transport such as a taxi to this attraction. We hired a Jeep for the day and drove ourselves here which was very easy as Samui Snake Farm was labelled on the map we followed. Admission Prices We paid roughly £2.50 each for admission which we thought ...
...printed in the middle, with Samui Snake Farm written across the top. The plate also had its own stand Visitors are invited to watch the Snake Show which is held twice a day at 11am and then again at 2pm. The show lasts around 30 minutes and is held in a circular arena with seating all the way around the outside of it, although I must point out that there is a gap between the arena and the first row of seats to make sure no visitors ca touch the ... Review of Paradise Park Farm, Koh Samui, Thailand by Monkeylove123

Advantages: it takes a long time to get there if you want to waste your time

Please please avoid this attraction like the plague Expensive Over-Rated Rude staff awful food Please Please Dont go !!My 2 1/2 year old daughter was even attacked by an Emu , The staff were Nasty and rude , it is definately not worth the effort to go all the way up the mountain for 3 monkeys , a few rabbits and an Iguana !! Pool is nice but there are plenty of pools which you dont have to pay to use !!! The prices are never the same Staff can charge ... Read review

Tropical Paradise
Review of Ko Samui Airport by Jamie73

Advantages: Beautiful to looks at, relaxed atmosphere
Disadvantages: None

I travelled through Ko Samui airport when visiting Ko Samui in October 2007. I have travelled through quite a few airports in my time but I have to say that Ko Samui Airport is the quaintest and most picturesque airport I have had the pleasure to visit. The first thing that stuck me about Ko Samui Airport was that fact that it blends perfectly into the tropical surroundings and doesnt really look like an airport at all. The airport consists of several ...
...fresh air and warmth of Ko Samui. There were no walls or doors, just glass sheets overhead which help to shade people from the sun. The security procedures were pretty similar to procedures in all other airports, your baggage is scanned upon entering the airport and you are asked all the usual security questions when checking your luggage in. There are several information boards dotted around the airport providing you with information regarding ... Read review

Beautiful Butterfly Garden's
Review of Na Tian Butterfly Garden, Ko Samui, Thailand by Jamie73

Advantages: cheap entrance, shaded areas, lots of species of butterfly to see
Disadvantages: Can be very hot at miday, lots of slopes to deal with

Na Tian Butterfly Garden is located on the south east coast of Ko Samui. We took a taxi to this attraction which cost us £10 for a return journey which seemed fair as the Butterfly Garden was on the other side of the island from where we were staying. Entrance to the Butterfly Gardens was cheap; we paid about £2 each for the admission costs. Samui Butterfly Gardens are totally enclosed by netting and the grounds on the gardens are sloped upwards ...
...the Gardens. Inside, the gardens are thick with vegetation and there are literally hundreds of different species of butterflies to see, as well as various species of dragonflies. One thing I have to say is that you need to be fairly fit to visit this attraction as the grounds are sloped with pretty steep stairs leading you up to the next level. Unfortunately there is no disabled access. We visited the Butterfly Gardens about 2pm when it was boiling ... Read review

Is this near Rocky Resort, it is right? I am going to book using charity service Rocky Resort Samui do you know this? I am looking also for good restaurant nearby, can you help and tell me if any? Also to get to Chaweng is not a problem right? I thought I would stay at Rocky (I am photographer myself) and spend some evenings on the beach in CHawenbg as they are ...
...yes? That is where the British girl got killed one Christmas; I do not want to go tthere. If you have any tips for good photo opportunities I also would like to hear from you; it is funny but I want to photograph Samui Airport quite a bit! I wish more web site do this charity thing BTW. Some give 5% of profit but this Travel Ethos place is unique and gives 100% of its earnings to charity; who said the world ... Read review
