We ate at Thali on Friday 02 Jan 2004. Thali is a combination of bad food and even worst service. I am surprised that this place is even open. We went to Thali as a group of six people. On our entry at 9:00pm found the chef sitting on the bar with a glass of Whisky even though the restaurant was supposed to open until 11:30PM. Two tables were occupied at the time.
The service was quite discourteous and the food did not match the description on the menu. We virtually could not eat the food at all. The chicken and meat were of very poor quality, very tough and stringy and the the curry was stale. The complaint about the food was shrugged off with a comment that they had not received any other complaints.
