Advantages: Private Beach, Helpful Staff Disadvantages: Number of steps within complex
...I don't know where to start with this hotel. I have stayed here on 2 seperate occassions and both times were just perfect. My most recent stay was in August 07, and this was the hotel I choose to have my wedding. The hotel staff were just brilliant throughout the whole stay. They looked after me and the 20 other guests invited.
On arrival we were all offered a welcome drink and cold towels. When my partner and I checked we were told we had an upgrade to a suite. The room was amazing! It had a large living area and bedroom seperated by a large TV. The bathroom had a standalone bathtube and walk in shower. The room even had 2 toilets. The room also had a large balcony which looked straight onto the hotels private beach.

Advantages: great facilities, great rooms, good view Disadvantages: Food and services a bit expensive, standard for a Hilton
...to similar resorts in Sanya, Hainan, China, this Hilton actually offers peace of mind and not that much mass market tourism.
Price wise, I think a garden view deluxe room is quite sufficient, since you will likely be spending a lot of time at the swimming pool or near the beach anyway.
Phuket also offers quite a few good massage places, although you have to get used to the pressure they use. In the hotel, it's a bit too expensive....

..., to and from Manchester, Heathrow, Bangkok and Phuket, private car transfers to and from the Thai airports and hotels and our hotel accommodation, which was three and a half star in Bangkok – The Hotel Asia, and a four star hotel in Phuket – The Kata Thani Hotel and BeachResort. Both hotels were on a bed and breakfast basis.
Our hotel in Phuket was truly amazing: A large, low-rise complex, that had everything you could imagine.
Firstly it had a magnificent beachfront setting, which was lovely in the evenings, just watching the sun go down from our balcony was heaven. The beach itself was very clean, tidy and private, with sun loungers available.
