Advantages: Reasonably priced, centrally located, spacious rooms, historical interest
Disadvantages: None

There is though the ‘Priory Hotel’ and although it’s only a few metres from my house, I have never been in there. The Angel Hotel is the biggest hotel in Bury St Edmunds and it overlooks the Abbey Gardens. The Butterfly Hotel is just off the East turnoff the A14 and I have also not been there. Oh dear! The best place to stay is the Ravenwood. We have been there a few times for a meal and it is very rustic and has a certain charm, commercialised hotels now lack. OVERALL So ...
