My Experience------- In my opinion this is the best option to see London and to enjoy your stay completely hassle free! A completely tourist friendly bus tour I ever enjoyed! We preferred the Big Bus tour as it covers maximum attractions in London. We have actually bought the Big Bus Tickets from a private tour information store close to Big Bus stop at Madame Tussaud’s. The price was as listed above. Either the Red tour or the Blue tour covers most of the attractions listed above and the staffs are very much helpful to assist the tourists so that we can visit all of the top attractions in London. Buses are frequent and on time. Tickets are stamped with time when we get on the bus for the first time and then are checked every time we get on the bus there after. Tickets are also sometime checked by a ticket checker while on board. The headphones can be connected to the bus seat speaker to hear the commentary which has a good sound quality with a nice description for each attraction. Commentary about any attraction starts when the bus reaches the particular attraction so it is very easy to recognize the attraction. We started the cruise from Westminster pier and ended up at Tower pier. You can just show the ticket to the City River Cruise Counter and get on any available city River Cruise. The cruise has a café at the bottom floor and the sightseeing sitting arrangement on the deck. There you can also enjoy a live commentary by an expert cruise staff. The view on both side of Thames is beautiful and I enjoyed the cruise tour most in my whole tour in London. While we get off the cruise at Tower Pier, we visited the Tower at that stop and get on the Big Bus again at a stop in front of the Tower. The Big Bus tour is very much convenient, comfortable and tourist friendly tour. They have their helpful efficient staffs continuously assisting the tourists. The buses runs on perfect time and many of their buses runs all the time you can see them often while on board. The best way to see London no doubt.
Advantages: Loads of them! Disadvantages: Not all the open-tops can be covered in case of London rain...
...I’ve never done any of the tourist stuff, so being on a gap year I hadn’t planned on, and with very little to do, I decided to indulge in a spot of research, riding the buses, speaking to tourists and asking the people on the pavement awkward questions.
A 24-hour ticket for the Big Bus Company costs £17 for adults and £8 for children, but family groups of two adults and two children get an £8 discount. Children are aged 5-15, and under 5s ride for ... ...which you get one of the people at the bus-stops to validate when you start using it, and your 24 hours start from then. They have over 80 bus-stops, of which around 40 are permanently manned during the summer by people who will sell you tickets to the Big Bus and most of London’s main attractions (the ones you have to pay for, anyway!). For Madame Tussauds, the Tower of London and the London Dungeon they sell “fast-track” tickets which in the summer ...

Advantages: On-the-bus purchase of tickets, comprehensive coverage of London attractions, all stops are short distances from attractions. Disadvantages: Occasionally, services are less frequent. Other times, a sudden gush of buses arrive.
...we had decided to use the tube to go to the individual attractions, in an attempt to save money. However, after the tiring trips up and down the tube stations and the walks from there to the tourist places, there was no way we were going to repeat it this time. So, we figured a tour bus would be the best way to see London, and were we right!
Upon searching the Internet for London Sightseeing tours, I found the Big Bus Company as the only desired ... ...it was not expensive anyways. The ticket included 3 tours, each distinguishable by the color displayed on the front of each bus. Our long drive from Huddersfield ended near Madame Tussaud's, where we parked on a street for the day, and arrived at the nearest Big Bus Station 2 minutes' walk from the museum. There was a customer representative there who greeted us and informed us all about how the buses operate and how we should plan our trip. As expected, ...

Advantages: great customer service Disadvantages: none at this time
...I were in London for the first time, and purchase the tickets to 2 separate attractions, along with the regular Big Bus tour. It was a little clilling so sitting on top was not an option. It was nice that you could get off at any time and pick up the next bus. At our fist paid attaction, Kensington Palace, was very interesting, but we take so long looking at things, that by the time we got to our second paid attaction, it was closed.
We thought ...

Ryanair, portary it self as I would think, National express, the bigbuscompany in the sky. After their latest incident this week, which I feel is important, although very unfortunate, but hopefully this will remind the crews of these flights, that they are not put there simply to dish out a sloppy service, be as arrogant as they can, insist on giving you tea at 34 Celciius, incase you burn yourself. But there presence is for ensuring the safety of the passengers that they are carrying !
Far to often these days, cabin crew, seem to forget their primary reasons for being on an aircraft and that is safety. As a formar crew member, a good few years back, safety was paramount, as it still is today, however I feel that they tend to forget about this, especially on a budget airline like Ryanair. I travel often to Poland and I can get ...

Advantages: Great for a family break, kids will never be bored! A must experience Disadvantages: Not many but can be a little expensive
is difficult therefore I strongly recomend that you go on a bus tour of London. We went on the BigBusCompany tour, it was £48 for a family of four but was the best thing we did on the whole break. The tour from start to finish is about 21/2 hours but you can hop on and off as you like over a 24hour period. We decided to stop on and take the full tour this was excellent very informative from the tour guides who accompany these buses and covered all of the best sightseeing places of London. Also included in the price is a boat trip on the River Thames.
In my opinion the bus trip is a must for all visitors to London.
London is a great busy, bustling City with lots of things to do for young and old nobody will be bored and with kids that is a releif and what a way to do it in your own caravan.
The cost for our 4 day stop was about ...
Advantages: Very clean, very friendly staff Disadvantages: Having to go home!
When we arrived at the airport in Jamaica from Manchester, we were surprised by how big it was. All the staff speak very good English. Apart from a new rep of our company, JMC, directing us to the wrong bus, we didn't have any problems with the airport. We had been told to watch out for the "Porters" are the airport, who would assume that you wanted a hand taking your luggage to your bus, put it on their trolley and expect you to pay afterwards. As soon as you firmly say "No thank you", they are fine about it and wish you a happy holiday!
As we'd missed our bus to our hotel due to JMC's mistake, we were hanging around outside the airport for around half an hour before another one came to collect us. Lots of the airport staff came over to talk to us and were very friendly - asking us where we were from, how long we were there for ...
