There is ONLY one place to be on Wednesday nights in Brummy-Bobby Browns! At Birmingham Uni, this is THE best night out - everyone knows it, and the tickets sell out the Friday before each and every week. It's that good.
Bobbys is essentially five rooms, all linked together by small corridors that are maybe too small, but make the place much more friendly. The first room as you enter had cheesy music, so you'd best get a pint and move on, up the stairs to the next bar. The bar is on a different level and is more of a pass-through than an actual room. On from there is a much larger dancefloor and bar with club anthems. There are also stairs down to the plush CO2 Bar which is beautiful - all glass and silver.
As I only go on Student night, I don't know what the drinks are priced like on other nights - but £2.50 for a double Vodka and Redbull is very good. Pints are about £1.60 which is again very good for a great club.
I think the club is over 21's all other nights, but it is well worth checking out any night as it is possibly the second best club I have ever been to - after Es Paradis!
