Boston Stump bowled me over.

Advantages: Beautiful picturesque, in middle of a lovely market town
Disadvantages: Parking its right in the middle of a lovely market town

~~ The Boston Stump ~~

We were halfway through our holiday week and decided to take a wonder around Boston town and to visit the 14th century St Botolph's Parish Church the famous Boston Stump.

The parish church was first built in 1309 making it nearly 700yrs old, the work on the tower started a century later at around 1425-1430 and was not completed until 1510-1520, so you will notice a slight difference in the architectural ...

A May Flower of a Caravan Park

Advantages: Small, with individual plots for you to stay on, clean and tidy
Disadvantages: None worth mentioning

of Boston, where you can visit the shops, or some of its museums or the Boston Stump (St Botolph's Parish Church) which was built in the 14th century and is the largest parish church in Britain, it proudly presents 'The Stump' which is a 272ft tower. It is only a short journey by car to a nearby Bowling Alley and swimming pool. There is also fishing, cycling and walks going on within the local area. Just a short drive, further down the A52 you reach the seaside towns of Skegness, Mablethorpe and Cleethorpes. You also have Lincoln, which is a wonderful historic town with many places of interest including the Cathedral and the Castle, not to mention the cobbled streets and loads of shops. There is a granite memorial at Scotia Creek, Fishtoft which marks the place where the Pilgrim Fathers embarked on there famous journey in ...
