Now simply called The Tap, this pub looks out on Kelvingrove Park and Glasgowuniversity, and fits in well with the vaguely cosmopolitan atmosphere of it's surroundings. Transport is a small problem, since the nearest underground station is about 15 minutes walk away, but there are buses or you could take a nice walk. It'll do you good, and it'll be worth it. It's not the cheapest place in the world either, but you pay for quality, and this place has it in droves. A wonderfully relaxed atmosphere with great music (indie, soul, easy-listening), great big comfy sofas, a pool table, djs from Belle and Sebastian.....what more could one ask for? One time I was in there they even brought us free pizza! In short, class from the Tap to the glass.
