...Buxton is a beautiful little picturesque town situated right on the fringe of the Peak District National Park in Derbyshire. It is place that is both picturesque and historic and is well worth a visit. Any visitor to the town wanting to know a little more about this old Roman Spa town should set an hour or so of their day aside and pay a visit to the Buxton Museum and Art Gallery. Admission to this building is completely free, something of a bit of a rarity these days. I visited here a couple of weeks ago and was very impressed. The Building that houses this Museum has an interesting history of its own. It was built in 1880 and was originally the Peak Hydropathic Hotel. This Hotel closed in the early 1900's and for a few years stood empty. During the First World War however it was used by the Red Cross as a Hospital and cared... Read review

...i heard a lot about hong kong museum of art befor ,luckily, i visited three days ago,the hong kong museum of art is a special scenery spot in hong kong, it face victory port,although hong kong museum of art located in main he generous part of hong kong city,it is very quiet inside,and have a excellent environment arrounding it ,the service is very professional,but all of this only cost your about 10 RMB. in the museum, there are many chinese famous artists' mastworks,such as : qi baishi,liu zuochou,huang binhong.their chinese traditional arts are called water-colour arts,the main scene is mountain,rivers,trees,persons,but drawn by chinese brush,so different from westen oil paintings.and there are also many westen arts there .look wonderfull. i think if you would like chinese arts,this is place is your good choice.... ...The rather dull, unattractive facade of the Doncaster Museum & Art Gallery disguises what a real gem of a place this really is inside. This is Doncaster\'s only town centre museum and here you will find a whole range of different artefacts that tell the story of the history of this town back to the Roman times and even further beyond. The museum is on two different floors, both of which are fully accessible by disabled visitors, and there is a lift to the second floor. In front of the main entrance doors there is a large reception area, which has various leaflets and books relating to the local area. At this point you could be forgiven for thinking that you had walked into the local tourist information centre rather than a museum, but a quick glance around soon reveals several little anterooms, that lead off from this main foyer area...
