Advantages: Nice place to relax yet in the city, great place to shop for branded goods Disadvantages: better if the people there are more friendly
Been to this place few years ago... A very very nice place with fast moving pace... Everyone on this street seems very fashionable. The tour guide told me women in Shanghai are willing to save all their money on meals just to get branded wears and at the same time go on diet.
The whole street along ShanghaiBund is filled with colonial type of building. Great historical architecture being one of the richest collection of art deco architecture in the world, housing most of the important buildings such as the banks and the consulates. Every one of the building are still very well maintained since 1940s. The whole stretch is all brightly lit up at night with very nice scenery no matter walking on the street or viewing it on the cruise. Day and night of the bund looks very different. Personally like the night view more.

Advantages: Near City Centre, Good value for money, River view Disadvantages: On a busy road
The Riverside Court Hotel is situated just outside Sheffield City Centre within a few minutes walk of the main markets and one of the main Shopping areas of the City.
It occupies a prominent position on the corner of Nursery Street, where it meets the Wicker. Historically the Wicker is an area of the City that was once a thriving part of Sheffield with lots of Shops and Businesses. Today it is rather run down, although improvements are currently underway, and most of the businesses in this area are now take aways and other fast food outlets.
The Riverside Court Hotel actually occupies quite an enviable location at the top end of the Wicker. It sits on Lady's Bridge next to the Exchange Brewery Works with views overlooking the River Don and the new Apartment Blocks on the opposite banks of this River. Lady's Bridge was built in ...
Advantages: Location Disadvantages: Cleanliness or lack of it
This hotel is awful. It is really rundown and not very well kept. On arrival there was nobody on reception to greet customers and you had to phone a number to speak to anyone. The bedroom itself was filthy, the valance on the bed was completely stained, there was cigarette ash in the teabag bowl, it was disgusting. To top if off they took the full amount off our credit card before we arrived, then packed our belongings while we were at my sisters graduation as they had messed up the booking. They moved personal belongings, monies and passports and would only talk to us over the phone about the situation. Breakfast was just about edible, if they hadn't taken the full amount off the credit card we would have left straight away.Avoid this hotel at all costs ...
