Advantages: The City is very nice! Disadvantages: No disadvantages
...The heart of London is the City, its financial and business centre. Numerous banks, offices and firms are situated there, including the Bank of England, the Stock Exchange and the Old Bailey. Few people live here, but over a million people come to the City to work. There are some famous ancient buildings within the City. Perphars the most striking of them is St. Paul's Cathedral, the greatest of English churches. It was built in the 17-th century by Sir Christopher Wren. Advantages: It's different, atomspheric, friendly Disadvantages: tad expensive

I live about 20 miles from London but am able to get the tube from Epping and get into town in an hour. Not quite as quick as the over rail service but a lot cheaper and by getting a one day travel card I am free to go anywhere in London by bus or tube. This is excellent value for money.
The service is, in the main, reliable and nearly always on time which makes a refreshing change from some services. The carriages are kept clean inside and staff are friendly and helpful....
