...Mexico is the best country I have visited as it has it all. Firstly, it is absolutely stunning. The scenery is magnificent, ranging from barren deserts to the caribbeancoast to lush forests and waterfalls. Added to this, the ruins to be found throughout the country are spectactular - I was sceptical, not being much of a keen sightseer, but they are well worth the effort! If you get sick of sightseeing, the towns and beaches provide plenty of entertainment. I loved Mexico City - it is so big and vibrant that it has something to please everyone - from beautiful old buildings and parks to lairy bars and Las Vegas-style hotels. The Yucatan peninsula is a must as it contains much of the most spectacular scenery and ruins, as well as the Caribbeancoast. The beaches are so beautiful that it is worth visiting Mexico for these alone...

...Having never been to the Caribbean before, Barbados certainly lived up to my expectations of what paradise should be. Gorgeous beaches, clear seas and lots of sun. Although I stayed at the beautiful Almond Beach Village on the west coast but I also managed to drag myself away from the beach and experience some of the other areas the island has to offer. the island is very varied ranging from the quiet and beautiful west coast to the lively south coast of St Lawrence Gap. St Lawrence offers a variety of night life, whereby locals meet tourists in trendy bars and clubs. Drinks can be expensive but most bars offer 2-4-1 offers or happy hours. Clubs do charge an entrance fee but often have live bands before the club really gets started. Travelling around the island is very easy. I made use of the local buses which are a set fee of $1...
