Advantages: a wonderful and unique experience; gives you a good sense of direction Disadvantages: too expensive
...There is no better way to get a perspective of where all the places you have just visited are than to look down upon a city. The Eiffel Tower in Paris proves this well and to some extent London's, London Eye does so as well.
There is something magical about looking down and seeing a completely unique perspective of the layout and structure of a city, however for the travelling tourist, this luxury may prove to be very expensive. Having visited London in my teens with my two sisters we found the experience so expensive that we even tried to pass my one sister, who was 16 at the time, as a thirteen year old to get a discount.
Other than that, it is a wonderful and essential London experience!...
