**** Argyll Hotel****
**Location/Getting there**
This hotel isn't dead central in Glasgow as you have to walk for quite a while down Sauchiehall street but it is a great budget hotel to stay in if you are planning to go to the SECC.They even have maps to help you get from the hotel to the SECC and it only takes about 15 minutes to walk it.
**Reception/staff**
The hotel isn't that glamourous or anything but the staff are always very helpful and friendly. You get the feeling that they like their job which is nice instead of having a scowling member of staff.
**Hotel/Room**
Pretty much every time i have stayed in this hotel i have had the same room. Its pretty standard as rooms go .It is always very clean and tidy,it has a kettle and some biscuits. The shower is okay. They always give us plenty of pillows .

The location of the hotel was very good as it was in the newly upgraded and developed area near the SECC and surrounding the hotel was luxury apartments, the new Clyde Arc bridge, the new STV and BBC Scotland studios and the SECC and Glasgow Science Centre. It was 20 minutes walking to the Kelvingrove Art Museum and the Transport ...

This place use to be called modern india, it recentlly changed to Assams. the place has changed drastically when it was modern india it was just a usual run of the mill curry you get in most restaurants. it has now changed to Assams
during lunch time they have a 3 coursebuffet on which is extremly great value for money with a choice of 7/8 starters and 8/9 maincourse. they also have a tapas menu on which is my favourite. Each dish is freshly prepared to order.
i have now been to Assams on a few occasions at luch and with the family in the evening i have to say without a shadow of a dought this is one of the best indian restaurants in glasgow for food i feel it would be extremly difficult to beat. ...
