As you may have guessed from my latest reviews I am on a bit of an Amsterdam review phase at the moment. As my wife and I visited over xmas we wanted to visit as many places as we could to sample the varied nightlife that Amsterdam has to offer, many friends had recommended Boom Chigao so we thought we would give it a go.
Boom Chicago is a comedy club essentialy, on Leidesplain, which is in the heart of the nightlife and restaurant area, quite near to other attractions such as the Alto Jazz cafe. Very easy to get to by tram, or by foot. Entry is 24 Euro on it's own, or for 36 Euro you get entry plus a meal, though there are some supplements for the more expensive dishes such as Sea Bass. the theatre, if you’re there during the summer.
Priced at 16 euros on weekdays and E18,50 on weekends, the show is fairly expensive compared to other things you might do in Amsterdam, but you still get your money’s worth. And if you get hold of a copy of the Boom! Magazine (available from lots of shops and the people hawking it in front of the Anne Frank House and lots of other tourist attractions) you can get a 3 euro discount, as long as you buy your tickets before 6.00pm. The magazine’s also a pretty good read, seeing as it gives you an outsider’s perspective on the weirdities of the city and suggests some really good places to go.
And if you really, really like the show, you too can learn to improvise! The group run beginners, intermediate and advanced courses which run at weekends (beware though, the beginners ...

Haarlem is the capital city of the province North-Holland. It is an old city that has many beautiful buildings. If you want to get out you will also have more then enough possibilities to find somtehing you like. There are lots of cinemas where you watch a movie, there is a beautiful old theatre, you can find many restaurants where you can eat, I want to recommend the restaurant : the ?Coach house Inn?. Their saté is famous and service is friendly.
Haarlem is proclaimed to be the ?Shopping city of Holland?. It is certainly worth a visit. ...
