Advantages: Situated in the heart of Mayfair Disadvantages: Expensive
...This is a wonderful hotel situated in the heart of Mayfair. It is a five-star hotel that backs onto Park Lane. The bedrooms are very comfortable and large in size. When I stayed there for the new year the service was friendly and the food was excellent. Although it is expensive to stay here it is thoroughly worth the money. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to stay in the West-end of London not far from Bond Street and Oxford Street. It is a good hotel to stay in for short shopping trips or for anyone going to London to see a show....

...From visting this hotel in late February 2006. We came to the conclusion that it was one of the best hotel In London ! I have visited several hotels and they didnt have any facilities like this hotel does.
The hotel offers great facilities such as an indoor swimming pool, fitness centre. The hotel also has its own garden providing a relaxing atmosphere. Not may hotels have its own garden especially in the heart of London !!
The rooms are spread out over about 8 floors. Rooms are very clean, modern and extremely comfortable. All rooms have a TV, CD player, DVD player, In room movies (Pay), In room video games (Pay), mini bar, coffee and tea making.
Staff in the hotel are friendly and always happy to help.
Food is good and a wide variety. The hotel has a garden bar, Longue and a garden restuarant with amazing views of the landscaped...

Yes, you pay extra for this kind a style, but the hotel is ideally situated on Aldwych, which is close to Theatreland and Covent Garden and, of course, the Underground network, so the whole of London is within easy reach.
The Hotel
************
The Waldorf Hotel was established almost a century ago, and despite various changes in ownership since then, has retained its reputation for Edwardian quality and style. The façade is very impressive, forming a crescent which follows the line of Aldwych perfectly, which means it is easily accessible for taxis and buses, slightly off the busier traffic in The Strand. NCP car parking is available...
