The explorers hotel disneyland resortparis was exceptional. We booked our mini break from expedia and for a family of four during the febuary half term for the hotel and eurostar to marne le vaille cost £501 (hopper tickets purchased seperatly quite cheaply from ebay). We arrived at marne le valle at 11am and travelled on the free shuttle bus to the hotel which took no more than 5 minutes. On arriving the hotel we entered into the foyer/ lobby and was amazed how grand and clean it looked we couldnt check in but we could leave our luggage. The staff were more than helpfull again we jumped on to the shuttle back to the station to go and have a good time in the parks (shuttles are approxamatley every 15 minutes) we stayed in the parks till seven thirty pm and headed back to the hotel to check in and grab some dinner. Again the staff were more than helpfull and we booked our continental breakfast for the next morning and headed for our room. The room was basically just that two double bed sa tv and a kettle a bit on the small side for the 4 of us but it didnt bother us too much i mean we was only going to sleep there. we left the bags and ventured down to the pool were the restaurant was situated The plantation restaurant was huge but we found out you had to book in advance it was also very pricey so decided we would rather pay the extortionate rates in the theme parks but on walking back up the stairs we noticed a small pizzaria so plumped for two medium pizzas and a portion of chips to share. This was also expensive but all we wanted was some food and to chill out for our next hectic day. Breakfast was situated in the plantation restaurant after handing in your card you were free to help yourself to what you wanted, the choice was huge so after getting the girls a bowl of cereal some fresh pineapple a yoghurt and hot chocolate i went to chosse from the array of delights i was so over whelmed i stuck to half a grapeffruit a croissont and a cup of coffee. this was also my choice for the next two mornings. Our last was spent in the pool and ball playarea which i must admit is excellent for the kids.
I would defiantley return to this hotel as the price paid compared to offical disney hotels is a saving of £300 plus
