The Fairmont Waterfront is a top hotel right along the harbor in downtown Vancouver. The building itself stands out from the skyline as it features a modern, high tech design, when checking in full valet services are available and staff are friendly and polite when helping with bags and during the check in process. The reception area features a small café area and various seats for visitors to use when waiting for rooms to be prepared.

The rooms come fully furnished with beds ranging from single to king/queen sized, bathrooms feature bath/shower and a sink complete with toiletries. A large TV is also available as well as Wifi access that is payed for upon check out. All rooms are cleaned daily.

The main thing that makes this hotel stand out form the rest in the area is the mall located below the reception, it can easily be located using the stairways near the reception. The mall features a large food court offering a variety of fast food and restaurants. there is also a number of clothing and souvenir stores. This essentially means the choice of food at the hotel is excellent.

The location of the hotel is great as it is found right at the cities waterfront, giving full view of the river and all the boats sailing in and out of the city. Sea planes are also taking off and landing all day. The hotel is also next to the main downtown area of Vancouver meaning shopping locations are just minutes away, other areas such as Stanley park can be easily reached via driving or a 20 minute walk along the waters edge.

Overall the hotel is definately the best in Vancouver and with it's great location, choice of food and cleanliness it should be the number one choice when staying in the area.
