The Feathers Hotel is conveniently located at 117/125 Mount Pleasant and is a few minutes walk to the city centre and the Albert Dock.It is also close to excellent pubs such as the Philarmonic and all the great ethnic eateries along Hardman Street. I have stayed at the Feathers twice and found it to be a very friendly hotel. My room on both occasions was comfortable, well equipped, although not very spacious. The breakfast at the Feathers just has to be one of the finest in town. There is an enormous spread, eggs, bacon, wild mushrooms, sausages, baked beans, grilled tomato, potato cake, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, and a good range of fruit juiced, nice tea and coffee. You can eat as much as you want as it is organised on a buffet style. There is a comfortable bar downstairs and the service is good. My only gripe when I last stayed was a 3 pounds charge for parking in the car park at the back of the hotel.
