There are a number of great shops at the Fort Shopping Park and that's why I decided to write this review.

First of all lets look at the locality. The Fort is a relatively easy place to get to if your in the car but the public transport routes are poor. There used to be a bus service (the number 11) which dropped you right outside the fort but then this got re-routed. There are no train stations near by so unless you live on the 68 bus route then it will have to be a car to get you there im affraid. The plus side is that there is free parking on two levels and even at christmas and peak times you can find somewhere to park.
Clothes Shops
There are a vast amount of clothes shops at the fort especially for women

All of these shops are relatively large and offer a good range of womens clothes. This is why the fort would be an ideal place to go if you want to go clothes shopping.
For the men there is also Burtons and Topman.
If you are after electrical goods there is no longer a dixons here but there are two mobile phone shops - carphone warehouse and the link.
There are also the important essential shops, Boots for all your cosmetic and toiletry needs and Whsmiths for the stationary.
The food court which used to house a Druckers, burger king, mill house pub and various other takeaway stores is now shut down but is to be replaced by a marks and spencers food hall. This further reinforces the fact that the fort is a rather expensive place to shop.
If your after a bargain then dont go to the Fort, instead try somewhere like Erdington or One Stop Shopping Center. If you are looking for quality and especially a good clothes shopping experience then i would suggest that the Fort would be a great place to start.
