...From time to time I stay in London, usually for just one or two nights. Until I found the Generator, I stayed in various cheap hotels/hostels. They were all ok, but since finding the Generator, I would never go back to the others.
I first found it on an advert board in a hotel/B&B place at Gatwick airport (where I work) when I was looking for a place to stay. The price seemed almost too cheap and I was concerned that maybe it might not be a very pleasant stay.
I realised I was wrong when I arrived there. I chose a twin room - I usually visit London with a friend - as the price was not very different to that of the dorms. The price varies slightly - I think according to time of year, etc - but is usually somewhere between about £45 and £50 for the room, working out at about £20 to £25 per person. I'm not sure...

...London Transport, many stations owned by rival companies on the line faced closure due to their close proximity.
The 1940's saw the completion of the track lay out that we know today.
The final Eastbound sections were put in place and ran from Ongar through to Liverpool St.
All of these new stations were strategically placed.
The fashion was changing. People were no longer living in Central London. They were moving to the suburbs due to the ease of commuting. London was becoming a place to work. Many of the stations on this line became commuter towns or villages.
Stations were built in a small community as houses were built on the land surrounding. This had been acquired during the purchase of access to the land. Housing estates were created to generate 2 revenues.

...to be found here, but it is amazing to just look round. If you are determined to walk away with that precious green and gold Harrods bag, then I’d say the cheapest items are in the food hall.
