DIABOLICAL - From beginning to end.
The only available parking is short term only - meter needs feeding every two hours!
No Internet in annex and no room service for breakfast despite this being listed on hotel amenities online. Advert was therefore misleeading. Hotel room was very shabby, peeling wallpaper throughout, cracked badly fitting window, which made room noisy and draughty. Bar Staff untrained, had not previously served vodka with coke! Worst of all the lady at reception was incredibly rude and unhelpful. Hotel manager grudgingly reduced cost of room by £10. AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS. ...

Advantages: Beautiful landscape, plenty to do. Disadvantages: Difficult to get around without a car, rain!
of Europe. I have been infored that there is a small club located opposite the GeorgeHotel in Geroge Square. A reliable source has told me it is not exactly delightful. So save your partying and dance moves for Cardiff if I was you. Stick to drinking and nice meals whilst staying in Brecon.

* There is a canal, you can take an afternoon trip on a barge (costing £4/£2 children) which leaves from the canal basin outside the theatre. Yes, Brecon even has a theatre!
