Royal Terrace Hotel

Advantages: Great location, lovely entrance areas
Disadvantages: very shabby in bedrooms

Edinburgh is one of those cities near enough for us to visit for a weekend, and with enough attractions and shops to keep us all busy. So, we tend to go a couple of times a year. I usually book online, and because I don?t know the city well, it?s usually a bit of a feat finding the hotel. Last time we went, our hotel was very difficult to find, and because it was at the opposite side of the city to ?our side? (Newcastle side), we had to negotiate the city centre- not good for anyone who doesn?t know the city. This hotel, by contrast, was incredibly easy to find. Armed with my route finder directions, we set off, and it seemed that no sooner had we entered the city than we were there. The hotel itself is located on a beautiful tree lined street of Georgian terraces- very stately. Our one problem when we first arrived is that ...

Georgian hotel with beautiful surroundings

Advantages: Full facilities, large comfortable rooms, full breakfast! great service
Disadvantages: Expensive?

The Burnham Beeches Corus Hotel is a traditional Georgian house, situated on Grove Road, Burnham, Buckinghamshire, SL1 8DP, on 10 acres of landscaped gardens. It is 12km to city centre, 24km to London Heathrow, 80km to London Gatwick, and 4km to the nearest station (Burnham). I happened to spend a night here in February prior to an assessment centre with Mars, and found it such a lovely experience. + The room that I stayed in was a double room: very large and comfortably decorated, with full facilities such as: Ensuite (all rooms have ensuite) Television (including satellite) Radio Direct dial phone Hairdryer Trouser press Automatic wake-up call Voltage 240v Kettle + It was much larger than the average Travel Lodge or Holiday Inn, and more traditionally decorated - which can be a good or bad thing for some. + There ...

The O.G. Atlanta Brave

Advantages: Some decent tracks
Disadvantages: Notihng special

?The Diary Of An ATL Brave? came as a mixtape from the Atlanta-based rapper Donnis in summer 2009. You get the artist backed by Mick Boogie and DJ Benzi, who host, as he comes through with some material that is designed to move away from the general sounds of the Dirty South and the Hip Hop that is based in Gangsta Rap as he does things in the Hipster Rap format (and so can be likened to the fellow Georgian Bobby Ray (formerly known as B.o.B.). 1. ?Beginnings? (Intro) 2. ?Underdog? As he gets down to things here with the first proper cut on the mixtape, here you find that he comes in with a heavy joint that gets him ridging some funky beats (the kind of things that seem to have been neglected from the Southern Rap scene for some time) as he shows how he can bring Hip hop back with this kind of thing and does well to show this through ...
