I went to the Pond a few months back. It was a large group of us so we decided to have the buffet. They bring the starters, all eight nine dishes, including the usual seasamie toast, the spring rolls chicken wings and so on.Thier was no soup included in the starter. I found that because i am a vegetarian they wern't many options, but if you're not then you recieve an adequate variety.

The main course is brought in, which includes the regular dishes of chicken and pork, vegatables and tofu with rice and noodles. I enjoyed the Tofu dish which was in a sweet and sour souce. Thir noodles were also tasty. Again thier vegetarian variety was poor.
They have a selection of alacholic bevearages and non alcholic drinks.
The buffet came to £10 in total excluding drinks. You can also have something from thier large menu if you however don't want the buffet.
In conclusion i wasn't keen on the resataurant due its lack of vegetarian and fish variety on its buffet menu.
Advantages: Nice ambience, central location, reasonable pricing Disadvantages: May be difficult to get a table at weekends

The staff are polite, the decor is nice, and the food is pleasurable to the palet. The price, even for a students, is not unreasonable especially for the dining experience you recieve.
I have normally had the buffet option at £10 per head. The food is brought out to you in courses. You may request to have additional servings of a course brought out if you wish. ... ...to bring out between the starter and the first main.
I've yet to sample their deserts but the one's i've seen go past me when dining there have looked delightful!
There is a separate vegetarian buffet so long as you ask when ordering.
The ambience is very relaxing. ...

The HIGH STREET shopping in Birmingham is also brilliant, (if the Bullring and The Mail Box weren?t enough); the high street offers indoor malls including The Palisades and the Pavilions which all contain another lot of shops.
