A little B&B in a tiny village close to Abingdon, Oxfordshire, with a true familiar touch. Very friendly hosts, even offering us to pick us up from the pub or bring us somewhere, where we could pick up the Thames Path again. No effort was too much, breakfast was plenty and made to order and there is always time for a chat to see where walker are coming from and go to.
The room was cosy and clean with a tiny ensuite - what more can you ask for? A host who cares - just a B&B how it should be: warm, friendly, familiar. A typical pub is just across the road to serve a solid choice of hot meals and soups, so dinner is safe without any extra long walks after a long days walk on the Thames Path.
