...This review is mainly about The Cooper Dean restaurant. I have compared with one in Christchurch, Dorset.
The Harvester chain is owned by Mitchells and Butlers. They also own Holiday Inns, Flares and other chain restaurants / pubs.
All restaurants are done out in a rustic style, with lots of beams, farming memorabilia and warm autumn colours.
The two restaurants nearest me have both just been revamped, giving them a fresh new look, but yet keeping ... ...I would imagine most of the restaurants would be in line to be done up if not already done so.
*First impressions*
Car parking varies from pub to pub, but out of my two, Christchurch has ample parking and Cooper Dean isn't quite big enough for the trade. The staff are so friendly and helpful they will always go out of there way to help you. Its all waitress service in the restaurant although you can eat in the bar if you want. The only thing you have to do is help yourself to the fresh salad which is all included in the price of the main meal and you can take as many trips as you like.
The Harvester Cooper Dean in Bournemouth is always filled with a warm welcoming atmosphere and ... ...you ask for it at the door.
I would recommend Harvesters to anyone for what you get with your money its great value.
Look out for the desserts you will need 2 spoons!!!
Harvester food varies from Spit roasted chicken to Flame grilled steaks and there are some Pasta dishes on there too. Prices range from £5.00 - £13.00.
There is also a childs menu which caters for the under 10's and the under 5's.
