The Pleasure Beach is a must if you have children. The rides are fab and the wristbands are quite cheap in comparison with other themeparks. If you go it is also worth seeing a show as these are pretty good - you should book first though - especially in peak season.
Blackpool Zoo has a good range of animals for children to learn about and Stanley park down the road is great if you get good weather.

The Tower is worth visiting once but has now become a little dated and could do with a revamp. It is also quite expensive to go in but you can use your Tesco vouchers if you shop there.

For adults - there are a range of pubs and clubs to choose from. Blackpool is a famous destination for hen and stag parties. Because of this there are a lot of strip clubs and a good casino. Joey Blower is a comedian who appears on the pier every weekend. He is worth seeing but probably only once - its only £2 to go in which isnt bad.
Hotels/B&B -------------- Famous for its amount of hotels and B&Bs. Blackpool has accommodation to suit all budgets. The Hilton is particually good value and offers great food. Watch out for special offers. You can get a room from £10pppn.
Overall --------- I like blackpool but i feel its moving away from a family town. During the weeend there are so many hen/stag dos it is a little intimidating. Lots of attractions could do with an update to attract more visitors.
