Overview ------------ Blackpool is a seaside resort on the North West coast. I do like Blackpool but i cant help feel it lets itself down at times.
Things to do ---------------- The main attraction is of course the long sandy beach that Blackpool is famous for. It is extremely save for bathers and you can get a donkey or pony ride there. You can also hire deckchairs and windbreaks.
The Tower is worth visiting once but has now become a little dated and could do with a revamp. It is also quite expensive to go in but you can use your Tesco vouchers if you shop there.
The Pleasure Beach is a must if you have children. The rides are fab and the wristbands are quite cheap in comparison with other themeparks. If you go it is also worth seeing a show as these are pretty good - you should book first though - especially in peak season.
Blackpool Zoo has a good range of animals for children to learn about and Stanley park down the road is great if you get good weather.
For adults - there are a range of pubs and clubs to choose from. Blackpool is a famous destination for hen and stag parties. Because of this there are a lot of strip clubs and a good casino. Joey Blower is a comedian who appears on the pier every weekend. He is worth seeing but probably only once - its only £2 to go in which isnt bad.
Hotels/B&B -------------- Famous for its amount of hotels and B&Bs. Blackpool has accommodation to suit all budgets. The Hilton is particually good value and offers great food. Watch out for special offers. You can get a room from £10pppn.
Overall --------- I like blackpool but i feel its moving away from a family town. During the weeend there are so many hen/stag dos it is a little intimidating. Lots of attractions could do with an update to attract more visitors.
Summary: worth a visit

I'm sorry for the low rating but this review is of Blackpool in general, rather than the Headlands. Can I suggest you write to Ciao and get them to move it.
