Don't go looking for Heritage In the Heritage Inn

Advantages: Great location, fair price
Disadvantages: Surly service with too much attitude

managed to find a hotel where we were able to dither away many of the hours and surprisingly, once we'd accepted that we were there for the duration we adapted to the forced slow-down and just spent a very lazy time. Why the Heritage Inn? It's not that easy to get good advice on finding a hotel in Amritsar. There are few of the international hotel chains, most booking sites cover only the more expensive places and even then, not in any great detail. Alternatively you could stay almost for free in the Temple's own accommodation - I think Michael Palin did that but it's a bit different when you have a camera crew in tow. I found the Heritage Inn thanks to a fellow member of the trivago travel website who added the hotel to the site's database. In my role as an 'approver' for hotels on trivago, I read up on all the hotel details ...

Review of Heritage Inn, Amritsar

The Heritage is no Hermitage

Advantages: Excellent venue, great service and good value if you get the right deal!
Disadvantages: None - except distance from home!

Intro. There are moments when one's wife should be allowed to enjoy the finer things of life, and The Heritage Golf & Spa Resort proved to be one of them. ( I am the other, and she has been very privileged to enjoy me for decades!! ) I felt it was right to take my beloved on a special package to Killenard for two reasons. Firstly, she had just arrived at pensionable age and it seemed a good way to celebrate her 60th - ( I, as her toyboy, do have a number of years to pension age as my buddies all know ! ) Secondly, there was a staggeringly good offer on Pigsback.com - and while I would not like you to think of me as a skinflint, one should not look a gift horse in the mouth!! - (which I believe has something to do with the age of an old nag!) So here is the steamy tale.! 1 Location. The hotel is located in Killenard. What ...

Review of The Heritage Golf & Spa Resort, Killenard

Premier Inn, Charing Cross Glasgow

Advantages: Close to town and all amenities
Disadvantages: none

I have never stayed in the Premier Inn before, but I felt I had to share my experience of the past weekend. The staff in both reception and the restaurant were fantastic, they were really helpful and made you feel right at home. The room and bathroom were both spotless, warm and the freeview television meant that my daughter didn't miss her soaps while she was away. The bed was both big and comfortable and we didn't have any trouble getting to sleep. We opted for the breakfast deal and we were not disappointed, the food was well cooked and warm there was also plenty of choice. Access to the hotel was excellent for both able bodied and non-able bodied people, we didn't have a wheelchair but we did have a six month old baby and a pram, and even though it is situated next to Charing Cross rail station we didn't hear a thing from ...
