Advantages: Everything plus GONDOLA RIDES ! ! Disadvantages: none that I can think of
...One of my most favorite travel places in the United States, Providence, Rhode Island, I found purely by accident.
I was travelling with a friend through the East, and we were headed to a very different destination in the states.
********HOW we chose PROVIDENCE******
Well, as life would have it, this friend and I began talking [and as anyone who knows me knows that I cannot 'talk' when I am going to change highways or I miss the highway and get slightly lost]. and we talked and talked and laughed and had fun.
Well, before we knew it , my friend was going "oops" , we missed our highway connection, and by now we were hours off course.
I just laughed and she laughed and we both looked for the nearest 'town or city' that we could visit instead of our original destination. [We had no hotel plans as this was just a 'fun...

Advantages: Stunning hotel, big rooms, security is good Disadvantages: Room Service and Reception staff don't care!
...The Radisson Edwardian New Providence Wharf is a luxury 4 star hotel. I stayed in this hotel just 2 weeks ago for one night at a price of £150 - I had this on Last Minute.Com as a Top Secret Hotel. I chose this hotel due to the close location to the O2. The location is spot on with fantastic views, little did I know that between the hotel and the O2 is a river! This meant 2 tube rides to get to the O2.
The hotel is very glamouros, clean and has good security. Check in is at 2pm, I arrived at 1:55 and they wouldn't allow me to check in - bit mean I thought! Check out is at 11am. They did take my luggage from me while I sat in reception until 2pm.
The rooms are very modern with a bathroom that has a shower and a nice deep bath. You have a flat screen tv, access to the internet (you have to pay) and a CD player, alarm...

...This has to be one of the hardest reviews of a hotel I have written. Why? Because normally I end up in a marvellous hotel with superb facilities and staff or a true dump of a place with mouldy bathrooms and no service at all. I do not like giving 3 stars with reviews as it doesn't really give a good indication as to whether the hotel is good or bad, but in this case I am forced too. There were no major problems with this hotel, nothing to make me recommended people avoid it. However, at the same time, there is nothing that would definitely attract any repeat business from me.
Booking & Pricing
As with most flight and hotel trips that I book, I used expeida.co.uk to get the best deal I could find on this hotel. Although Expedia often provide great flight and hotel packages, it can be difficult to establish how much you actually paid...
