Capsule to heaven
Review of London Eye, London by Darrenworthy

Advantages: The view, queue times, seats in capsule, size of capsule
Disadvantages: No comentary on the view

...At a recent get-together with frienbds in London we decided to try and get tickets for the London Eye for the Saturday. Unfortunately Saturday tickets are booked up and the queues from the tickets that can be sold on the day are quite large. Instead we choose to queue up on the Friday after 30 minutes we had tickets for the eye and after 20 more we were in the capsule, slowly ascending in the London sky. The view is immense and I onlywish that I knew more about the London skyline so I could point out more landmarks to my friends from America. In short, the Eye is amazing and well worth a visit. Congratulations to British Airways forsponsoring such a good Millennium project.... Read review

Student Capital The City of the Moment
Review of Covent Garden, London by Kram_Eniarrol

Advantages: A city of the moment
Disadvantages: nONE

...London is most definitley the capital city of the moment. It is a great place to study, live and visit. A city of parks, of culture and of commerce, it is packed full of world renowned museums and famous landmarks. It is always buslting with street markets and street fashions. Covent Garden provides an excellent example. It is evidence that London never sleeps and no two trips would ever be the same, it's always constantly changing. Whatever you are looking for, London can provide it. It's cosmopolitan, it's exciting, and it's probably one of the safest capital's in the world! The combination of great oppourtunities and great history give London an unbeatable atmosphere and it is a permanent student capital!... Read review

London Eye. Great ride.
Review of London in general by wiseoldowl

Advantages: A fantastic experience!
Disadvantages: Try to avoid the queues at the gate!

...The London Eye is a magnificent ride. The views of London from the top are absolutely incredible. On a fine day, all the London landmarks can be seen. Some of the most spectacular photographs you will ever take are there ready and waiting for you. The ride is so smooth, you hardly know you are moving, and it really does feel so safe, even though it is obvious just how high you are! As a tribute to British engineering, and to the new Millenium, it knocks spots off the Millennium Doom! Whilst I would welcome the demise of the Dome at the earliest opportunity, I hope that the London Eye continues to turn for many years to come. Book early, and don,t rely on queuing at the gates, as this can be very frustrating and irksome, especially if you have young children, for whom the ride on the London Eye will be something they will always...
