Langdale Pikes Report

Advantages: Beautiful scenery, fresh air...
Disadvantages: None

Suddenly, you find yourself in the Lake District… You are heading along the A592 with Windermere to your left. You look to the north and in the distance you see a curious mountain formation. Two hill tops strangely positioned against each other. What is that? You wonder. It is – or should I say they are - the Langdale Pikes. Being managed by the National Trust, the campsite provides very good facilities. The showers are powerful with hot and cold water and you can adjust the temperatures of the water. And this campsite is one of the fews which provides 3-point sockets for power supply in the toilets. You can use it to charge your electronic appliances and also use your hair dryer.. There are also drying rooms available for you to dry your shoes, jackets whatever if they get damped. And noise level ...
