18 January 2000 The Lion King Lyceum Theatre, London £20
I went to see The Lion King last year with my school on one of the school trips to london. We went and saw two musicals; Saturday Night Fever and The Lion King.
The Lion King is being shown at The Lyceum Theatre in the West End of London and has been for the past year.
The actors and Actresses aren't dressed up as animals but they are in a way. They have hats that are like an animal but you still see the actors face. Their make up is brilliant and they look so professional.
The story hasn't been changed like some of the musicals do, so you already know the story if you have seen the Disney film.
The Actors / Actresses all have amazing voices and they are very clear so if you are sitting high up you can still see very well.
I thought this was the best Musical around and because it's great I'm going again this July! If I were you and you haven't seen it, make sure you do see it before you miss out!
