A large crowd queuing up. We sighed, but surprisingly the time went in fast and we were at the door, only to be greated with rather unfriendly door staff that get a bit feely with their searching, needless to say i felt rather uncomfortable...(btw shoes must be worn, as the M-Club operatates this as part of their dress code)
Anyway once inside safe and sound, we all gleefully handed in out shiney £1 coins, and were given entrance. Heading up-stairs we were greeted with a large but not crowed environment, and dated (note dated does not mean bad) selction of music, supplied by a DJ, whom also offers his service at the Beach Club (also in Belfast) The selction of drinks was quite impressive and also must i say reasonably priced. Bar staff were very polite and efficent, and empty glasses were removed from tables with the uptmost of effiecency.
We drank to our lil hearts were content, and our lil legs none to steady, a good nites craic was had by all.
To sum up, once inside, the staff are friendly, drinks good value, music rather dancable, and the environment quite friendl, with the average closing time of at around 1 am, and many brilliant drinks promotions which i can't name them all as they are always changing.. So yeah, if you are in the area, call in, you wont regret it, thats a promise.
***Note the dress code of shoes, and no tracksuits etc, and be early or expect a cue, we were surprised to see staff not letting any one in after 10:30 to avoid over crowding.
Advantages: Easy to get to, if you're a student in Belfast, you'll know the majority of people there! Disadvantages: It's in Belfast
The M Club in Belfast was a favourite with my mother and many of her friends at a time when really there wasn't much else to do in Belfast!! Since then it's been re-vamped dozens of times, and is still going.
Having been a few times, (and every time it's been different) and having had "the best night" every time, I'm hooked. With many top names and good student nights, it's still one of the most popular spots, with a great location, cheap booze ...

Advantages: Drink promotions and music is not bad. Disadvantages: Really bad smell and the doormen are sleazy and unprofessional.
The M Club in Belfast is a bit of a dump, not somewhere to go if you want a good night out in the city.
The music isn't too bad but the smell of urine ruins the vibe. I've been a few times now and can honestly say nothing has changed, the club still stinks. Drinks aren't expensive and they do have some great promotions running.
My main concern is the M Club Bouncers (Doormen) - They are aggressive and unprofessional, if its closing time you might ... ...so tough if they were on their own. They also harass women and I've witnessed first hand an assault on a young girl so be very careful if you are going here.
Their are plenty of good nightclubs around Belfast so don't let this one spoil your night
I'll not be back. ...

Advantages: Friendly People, nice decor, good drinks prices Disadvantages: Music not too up to date
I brought in 2005 in the M-Club. Me and my friend arrived in belfast on new years eve with no idea where to go. We went into an off-sales and the guy working there advised us on the m-club, so we thought what the hell. We went and bought out tickets, £10 each and went and got glamed up. When we arrived we got there at about 11pm and the door staff where very lax, they did not search or bags or anything. When we went in, we were pleased to see the ... ...The drinks were pretty reasonable for a club on nre years eve. The only down side was, the music was a bit dated with the odd, recent hit. And we were advised other wise, but that aside the M-club was great, great people, friendly staff and no trouble, I did not see one fight, or even a scuffle!! Try it! ...

Advantages: Pleasant atmosphere and nice friendly people Disadvantages: Shaky peace agreement
Belfast in Northern Ireland gets all the bad press in the news and it is virtually only ever heard of when bombs go off there. You never hear about Belfast when large concerts are there or when there are parades. Belfast despite its reputation is a lively city, with recent developments it is also a very pleasant British city. There is a lively night life with such nightclubs as Storm or the MClub. Belfast also has its more educational side with museums and art galleries as well as its own share of historical buildings. The shopping in Belfast is not to be snubbed either with many shops and good parking in the city centre leaving dubliners to migrate there for Christmas shopping some of the time. Belfast if u havent been is well worth the trip. ...
