About Jalandhar
My Home town Jalandhar where i reside is a small but busy town of Punjab, India. The town is buzzing with activity. The town is main commercial hub of Punjab. The Jalandhar city has many tourist attractions arround it, the main among them are:-
The Devi Talab Temple, the main attraction of the temple is that it situated in the middle of the large pond and is decorated with gold from inside and out of the main temple.
The Science City, which is the main attraction for the children, is a science museum having on display various scientific experiments and models.
The city is the hub of Hotel industry as well Medical industry in the North India. There is very large number of Hotels in the city as well the equally large number of hospitals in the city. the Medical industry here provides specialty treatments in almost all the ailments that too at reasonable cost and time.
The synopsis of the Hotel
The hotel building is the totally glass structure from outside. Which was amongst the first buildings in Punjab to have totally glass structure from outside. The Building has glass capsule lift. The building is situated in the hub of the commercial activity in the Jalandhar and is also very near to all the government offices. Even thought the Hotel is in the hub of the city, yet the atmosphere in and around the hotel very calm. When ever i go to The Maya Hotel, I feel i am not in Jalandhar but some place else. The entire look and feel of the hotel is very good. Being the 3 star hotel the facilities and cozy environment made available inside the hotel is wonderfull. The Hotel has one multi cuisine restaurant, One pastry shop, One Bar, A Discotheque, One Conference Room, One Board Room, One banquet Hall and 53 Luxury rooms.
About the Restaurant
I have been frequent visitor to the Restaurant of the Maya Hotel. I simply love the Food. Being a multi cuisine restaurant, we get on the menu the Ethnic India Food, The Chinese Food and the Continental Dishes. In all the three cuisines again we find vast variety of the dishes available. The preparation of the food is simply delicious. The atmosphere and the sitting makes the whole experience that much more enjoyable. Although sometimes food is not very good and lets the hotel down
About the Bar
The Talli Bar at the Maya is also very famous among the Jalandharites. My Husband along with his friends is a frequent visitor to the Bar. They like the calm atmosphere and the variety that is on offer there. The service is absolutely quick and good.

The Maya Hotel has a deluxe 53 rooms accommodation that too at value added room rates and tariff with a proud tradition of organizing and hosting successful meetings, conferences and banquets. A board room with Personalized services of business center add pleasure to your business needs. The room are a plush luxury experience of the great hotel. The Hotel offers all the room services that makes if good hotel. Such a In room Dining, Laundry, Well trained and sophisticated House keeping and hotel staff. Parking Facility is also available in the Hotel.
The state-of-the-art Conference hall is equipped with the latest gadgets including projectors, pointers, white boards and sound system. All this and personalized service are sure to make any body's conferences and meetings a pleasure. The banquet hall is designed to accommodate 250-300 pax. The hotels banquet team specializes in organizing theme parties.
Over All Experience
Positives The overall experience of the Hotel Maya is excellent. The food, the atmosphere, the services, the accommodation, everything in outside the hotel makes it a special feeling and experience.
Negatives The food Sometimes let down the entire Hotel Experience.
Rating I will give 7 out 10 to the Maya Hotel. It is One of the best hotels in North India, but not the Best among the rest.
Recommendation I would say it is good if you are choosing This hotel for your stay in Jalandhar (Punjab), India.
