Review of The Meadows by  Fionza

Advantages: Lovely place for young, old, culture or uncultured
Disadvantages: Not so nice in the raim

...The meadows, in central Edinburgh provide a glorious walk.... past gorgeous tenament flats where you can see in and admire lovely furnishings, artwork, and plants. A fabulous background for sipping champagne (or cider if you are a) poor b) a student c)both on a warm summer evening. In the shadow of Arthurs seat resembling a headless lion, overseeing its territory you can soak up the academic ambience as you amble towards the university buildings. On many a warm day people enjoy pitch & putt, football with friends and even visits form the circus. It is clean and enjoyable and provides a walkway to a variety of attractions Ye Olde Golf Inn on one side, Greyfriars bobby and the Elephant House (fantastic coffe shop) on the other. On a hungover Sunday it can gently ease you in to the hub of a vibrant city....one of my favourite places!!!... Read review

Review of The Palace (Dublin) by  the_mad_cabbie

Advantages: One of the best old fashioned Irish bars in the city.
Disadvantages: Smell of disinfectant in the mornings!!!

It has a large window right in the middle of the high ceiling, so it is always very bright and airy. The bar is festooned in all sorts of antique memorabilia, from old whiskey bottles and casks, copper serving jugs for ale, and a delightful “His Master’s Voice” type wind up gramophone. The mirrors throughout are the original engraved variety, again copied by souvenir shops the world over, and advertising such reminders of a bygone age as “Power’s Pure Pot Still Whiskey”. The beers on sale include the obligatory Guinness, it’s Cork counterpart Murphy’s, and Kilkenny. Incidentally, it has... Read review

...Salzburg,(Salz - salt, burg - fortress, will talk abt it later ) is one of the medieval picturesque Baroque cities of Austria bordering Germany ,with a rich legacy of its ancestral rulers and nestled cozily among mountains, snow capped peaks, tingling lakes 'n rivers. <b>City Centre:b> The city centre is scattered with historical abbeys ,cathedrals, museums, turrets, opera houses, courtyards, art galleries 'n universities, roman statues flanked by wide plazas 'n ornamental fountians, belfries surrounded by impregnable castles overlooking the city. All the major tourist attractions are very close by 'n can be covered by foot .The city centre literally resembles to be some chipped away block of another artistic city Rome or Florence. <b> Hohensalzburg Fortress b>:This castle overlooking the city is one of the most visible 'n imp landmarks...
