Advantages Next to The Mill Pond, They let you take your beer outside, freindly staff.

Disadvantages Crappy Toilets, Very Small, They will often let anyone in, dead in the Winter!

Ahh Yes I can see it now.. Those Lazy Summer Days in the evenings in Cambridge.
Now for me Cambridge only really becomes a great place to be when the sun is shining in the Summer. The Girls Come out in full force showing as much skin as possible (in the most proper of ways - being Cambridge), And One Is able to go drinking with friends beside the banks of the River Cam or On the River Cam if you act like a tourist or your on a May ball and you get yourself a Punt down the river.

Of course to be able to drink with ease along the banks in the summer with ease it helps to have pubs along the river. And yes the Mill is one of a handful of Pubs in Cambridge along the banks of the Cam.
The reason i like the Mill is, everyone seems to congregate on the other side of the road to the Mill on a little area of grass called the Mill Pond.
Unfortunatly as you get older you realise when you look around you with each year that the people on the grass are getting younger! Oh well theres still some years older than me here I think to myself.
So with the Mill One is able to get the Guinness and many other fine beverages and bring it outside and take in the evening setting sun. Excellent.
It helps that the Mill Can be used as a place to let the pressure off on the bladder aswell.. Problem is every man and his dog knows this so the toilets aren't the sort of place you want to hang around for long and read the newspaper!
Its unfortunate for the Mill that they seem to do 90% of there business in the summer months, but then again some businesses do have to accept that they may be cyclical.
If you want Happy Days - head down to the Mill and The Mill Pond during a warm summer evening and as long as your with friends your likely to have fun.
