Advantages: Very Picturesque
Disadvantages: Industrial and Urban on its boundaries

The Moss Valley lies in north-east Derbyshire just a few miles to the south-east of Sheffield. The Valley follows the course of the Moss Brook, one of the cleanest Rivers in the area. It is quite a wide Valley, surrounded by the large urban areas of Sheffield and Chesterfield. The Valley covers an area of approximately 4 square miles that has been created by the Moss Brook and its tributaries. The Moss Brook rises in the west of the Valley and flows ...

Advantages: Ridgeway Village, North East Derbyshire
Disadvantages: Poor Bus Service

The majority of the dwellings in Ridgeway lie at the side of its only Road, the B6388, known here as High Street. Instead of simply driving through however I would strongly suggest that you park up and explore the Village because this is an area steeped in History. In short there is a Post Office and General Stores, three Pubs, a Craft Centre, a School, two Churches, and a Garden Centre and Nursery. It is known that the Village ...
