De Eemhof - excellent value family holiday

Advantages: Excellent activities, good accommodation, not too pricey
Disadvantages: Range of food outlets could be better, lighting by signs could be improved

De Eemhof is a Center Parcs holiday village less than 40km east of Amsterdam and 40km north of Utrecht in the centre of the Netherlands. Review of De Eemhof Center Parcs

Duinrell, Wassenaar, Netherlands.

Advantages: Everything you could possibly want from a family holiday
Disadvantages: Can't think of any!!!!!

We have visited Duinrell on 5 occasions, the most recent being the week 11.9.04 to 18.9.04. We have two older children and a 2 year old and absolutely love the place. We stay with UK based tour operators such as Canvas although there are other companies such as Eurocamp and Keycamp. Advantages: A real expereance, a true picture of how things were.
Disadvantages: None

My Name Is Roy Harold Eardley: My father George Harold Eardley VC.MM. On 16th October 1944 he fought a Lone Battle in which he earned the VICTORIA CROSS. Single handed he silenced three enemy machine gun posts under heavey fire. He returned to Overloon 26th May 1945 and was `Guest of Honour` at the Opening Ceremony of this wonderfull Museum. War should be kept in a Museum

Duinrell Amusement Park - A Great Easter Treat

Advantages: Great place for all the family
Disadvantages: Not for people with phobia of frogs!

Duinrell is not just an amusement park but a campsite as well. My experience of this place is from working on the campsite for a camping holiday company. It is ideally situated about 30 minutes drive north of The Hague in the Netherlands almost equally distant from the ferry port at Rotterdam to the airport at Amsterdam. This place is fantastic.
