We chose the Ormond Quay Hotel for our first trip to Dublin after having checked out their website and I'm very glad that we chose it. It is situated right in the heart of Dublin facing the River Liffey, just down from the Halfpenny bridge, which makes it perfect to reach after sampling Dublins nightlife.
The staff are very polite, helpful and friendly and went out of their way to help you. The room was bright and clean and had a very comfortable bed, the only problem I found with it was that the bathroom was very small and a very loud fan came on every time you turned on the light.
The breakfast was lovely and even though the breakfast room was very busy on the mornings that we were there, it was run very efficiently.
Overall I was very pleased with the hotel and I am planning on staying there again on our next trip to Dublin.
