This hotel captures true Englishness. Whether it be afternoon tea - complimented with the fantastic selection of cakes and cream teas, or the formality of a 5 course evening meal - this hotel offers it all.
There is a short 18-hole golf course, 2 indoor and 4 outdoor tenniscourts, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, snooker room, table tennis, sauna, croqeut lawn, superb room service and many other facilities. It is suprising that this hotel is only rated 3 star. It should be given 5!
The friendliness of the staff made the stay complete - I went away feeling like royalty. Wherever I went, I was treated well - right from being handed a clean towel in the swimming pool, to being served after dinner coffee in the lounge. There is a real sense of belonging at the Palace, something I haven't experienced anywhere else.
A stay can cost anything from £50 to £150 per person per night (B&B). The restaurant offers dinner for around £25 per head. Formal dress is required in the restaurant. The cost of the stay is dependant on room location and size - a room overlooking the beautiful gardens costs much more than a room overlooking the carpark (obviously).
Whether it be a short weekend stay, or a week in torquay, I would immediatly recommend this hotel to stay in. It is a pleasure to pay at the end of the stay - and I assure you, it won't be your last visit.

Prices range between 50 and 150 pounds sterling. There are rooms which cost more. Book in advance!

It does indeed sound rather nice, but I'd rather read more about your stay there and some personal insight. How much does it cost to stay there by the way?
