My first ever visit to the Palace Theatre was rather a long time ago...thirty five years ago to be exact. Even now things hav'nt changed much..One would have thought that they would have done...especially since the arts council have spent a couple of million doig it up. When I first went to the Palace it was to watch a christmas panto, but the palace launches far more extravagent shows than that these days.
The palace theatre , which has been ... ...a lavish theatre which extolls the best from its players.
Its accoustic capabilities are far greater than many other theatres of similar size and visiting this great listed building leaves one feeling nothing but admiration for its staff, who are always on hand to help.

...in Manchester.
I had given the close friend who asked several suggestions & left them to choose & get the tickets.
My birthday arrived & I was driven to Manchester's Palace theatre for the musical "Miss Saigon".

A very friendly doorman met us on our arrival, eagerly opened up the disabled front ... ...balcony, shown them & where the disabled toilets were & then left to have pre show relaxing drinks & mince pies in the first floor bar. My ever observant eye for disabled facilities was quick to note that one level of the bar was at wheelchair height so I could have ordered my own drinks if I was not being looked after capabley by the friend who takes me out.
On reaching our seats before curtain up we were approached by the staff to get us a programme ...

Advantages: inexpensive ticket cost Disadvantages: none what so ever
I would like to introduce you to a group of extremely talented group for kids.. They perform at least 3 shows a year in Kilmarnock's PalaceTheatre. Most of there show are fun filled musicals which are written by their director Chris Annetts. The group took The Edinburgh Festival by storm 2 years ago and their shows were getting full houses by the end of the week. They are taking Edinburgh by storm again this year, with 2 shows, "Numbers up" and "Future Ghost". The average age of a cast member is only 14 but the talent is enormous!. There next show at The PalaceTheatre is a double bill "Test you wings" (an award winning show) followed by a "Numbers up" preview on Friday 30th March and Saturday 31st March, tickets are excellent value at a cost of £4.00 for adults and £3.00 for children/concessions or family ticket £12.00. If you live ...
Advantages: Incredible music, wonderfully moving, tear jerking, laugh-provoking Disadvantages: Not suitable for people of all ages
looked very pretty but very dramatic at the front of the theatre, and the audience turnout was amazing.

I cant praise Les Miserables high enough. It is definitly in my top 3 favourite musicals, and I look forward to going to London again this year to see it!
I would definitly recommend Les Miserables, and it is definitly worth the costly price you pay to watch. As the story can be quite disturbing I wouldn't say it was very suitable for the younger children, also due to the fact it is quite a long play, and as they are most likely to be oblivious to the story and not understand they would probably get rather restless and spoil the whole experience. I also have to point out that the show does contain mild swearing so watch out if you do decide to take your children.
Apart from the running time, the musical is definitly worth ...
