Dover Leisure Centre

Advantages: You don't need to be a member to use the facilities
Disadvantages: Certain parts may be shut due to private events

from the viewing area, there is an Exercise Hall where various exercise classes are held. Again, the details for these classes are normally found on leaflets at reception or you can download them from the Leisure Centre website. Main Hall The leisure centre has a large sports hall which is divided into half so you can hold separate events. Many sporting classes / events are held here such as football matches, badminton, basketball and many more. During the Summer, the leisure centre holds a Play Scheme where children can learn sports during the summer holidays. Squash Courts There are 3 squash courts which can be hired out. Café The café has recently been refurbished so it has a very modern feel to it. The café serves hot and cold drinks and also snacks. The bar has Sky TV and shows many of the sporting events such as football ...

The village hotel & leisure club in Wirral.

Advantages: Clean and fresh
Disadvantages: Like a rabbit Warren

The village hotel & leisure club in Wirral Have recently joined here and at £32 per month, each, we feel we have a bargain. They even waved the joining fee, normally £70. We joined, my wife and I, on the ?Flexi? promotion. This is where you are only tied in for 3 months as opposed to the ?Full? 12 month tie in. Extras given include £15 to spend in their restaurants, 10% discounts in the bars and coffee shop and 2 free vouchers for friends/family. The vouchers entitle the user to a free week in the gym, pool etc worth £70. If you recommend someone and they join you also get £50 of a nights stay in the hotel. A fair few incentives but to be honest we just want to use the leisure facilities. My wife is recovering from Breast Cancer and she has some back problems resulting from the Radiography. She ...

Brean Leisure Park - Fun City

Advantages: Reasonable costs
Disadvantages: A lot of steps so unsuitable for wheelchair users in places

Brean Leisure Park A/N: You can stay in accommodation here or visit as a day guest. We had accommodation near by so this review is written from that perspective. Thanks. As some of you may know if you read my review before this, our recent holiday - the first with our baby daughter - took us to Brean in Somerset where we stayed in Brean Sands Pontins Holiday Park, and right next door what did we find? Only a Leisure park. You may be asking yourself why the surprised tone? Well the answer to that is clear - Brean is a very small and quiet place and there is not much in this village size beach town except sandy beaches and the odd shop here and there, so to find a leisure park of decent size was not what I was expecting. Due to holidaying with a 5 month old baby, we were limited to what we could do, yet we found that this ...
