Villapark was the most beautiful football stadium in the world. The Trinity Road Stand was an absolutley amazing piece of architecture with its stained glass windows and marble motifs it had an air of grandness which sought to inspire you as you walked up the steps or intimidate opposition fans. Its like a old castle. I was so happy when the Holte end's rebuild in 1995 was styled to match the Trinity by incorporating the brick work and the fleets of stairs. I was absolutley gutted when the Trinity was ripped down. The stand was on the small side and wooden but the front was absolutley beautiful surley a larger stand could be built around the building for not much cash. Inside the atmosphere is lacking in recent times as there is a bit of a downer on the whole club at the moment. I'd love all the stands to be styled like the Trinity. It ...

't much better than the hotel. It was very run down. There were many hotels and bars closed up and even the odd one burnt down! The weather was very bleak which didn't help!
There are lots of places to go with a family in blackpool though including the zoo which is at Stanley Park, the Tower which has the circus and a soft play area, the aquarium, the piers which have rides and amusements on and the usual seaside type places like a little wax works attraction. There are certainly places to go but from what we experienced they all looked very sorry for themselves and worse for wear. I thikn the Pleasure Beach and all it's rides was even looking rather sad.
Opinion
This hotel needs a good old re-think from the lay out of the carpark to the run down nature of the bathroom. The staff need to act a bit more professional instead ...
Advantages: Fantastic stadium, experienced manager, several exciting players Disadvantages: Lack of money for transfers, inconsitent goalkeeper
There is no greater feeling than that when standing in the Holte End at Vila Park. The atmosphere is electric and when a goal is scored the whole stadium shakes with excitement. There is also fantastic facilities available for families, as there is now a family enclosure in the Trinity Road stand reserved for families. The enclosure itself accomodates players whe they are injured, providing the children with oppurtunities to meet their heroes.
Overall, VillaPark is a fantastic venue which can be enjoyed by people of all ages! As for the team, a few improvements could be made during the summer transfer window. Our main disadvatage at the moment seems to be our current goalkeeper, who has a habit of making costly mistakes. The main query is why but a new keeper in the summer transfer window, when we have a fantastic 2nd goalkeeper ...
