Advantages: Range of shops Disadvantages: Can be a bit too small
The Pavilions is located at one end of New Street in Birmingham. It's not a big place, in terms of volume of shops, but it has several floors, and a large variety of shops. The biggest is possibly HMV, while spans all the floors, with a whole range of musical taste covered. However, there is also a Waterstones book store which covers all floors, and which is equally useful. The bottom floor has one shop of exceptional note - the rather famous Gadget ... ...it were. Other stores include The Disney Shop, NEXT, and some rather more 'ethnic' shops with furniture and carvings and homewear of all kinds. The top floor is dedicated to ever humans favourite pastime (no, not sex), eating. A whole assortment of eating establishment really spoil you for choice, so much so you have to feel sorry for anyone working in the centre in smelling distance! All in all, the centre is full of variety, and has a wonderfully ...

Advantages: None Disadvantages: Where do I start................
Walking through the Pavs this afternoon for perhaps the millionth time in my life I finally realised what a dump this place really is. Built as part of the Bull Ring Vision of the 1960s it really hasn't jumped forward much in 30 odd years.
To access the Pavs is mainly done by a long rampway leading up from one of Brum's main high streets, New Street. But as soon as you walk up the ramp you can see the indoor styling for all its crumby beauty. All ... ...window dressing to really allure the more discerning shopper. And God, why do the owners of these places still think tacky muzak will improve matters for bored shoppers. It was liking walking through a time warp as soon as we entered this monolothic cavern of uniformity. Even more of a step backwards after enjoying the rest of the day in the more accessable & more interesting parts of the city centre.
All the usual names are here, MacDonalds, HMV, ...

Advantages: Beautiful setting and gorgeous food Disadvantages: Not the most salubrious part of town
the police statistics showed that more crime happened during a hanging than was ever cleared up by it. Hence, hanging went private and moved to the local courthouse and eventually to Bedford Prison. Racecourse Park is now the centre of things each summer when the Northampton Balloon Festival comes to town - other than that, it's just a big open park.
The racecourse attracted the local folks as well as the great and the good, and a pavilion was built to keep royalty and gentry away from the hoi polloi. Today, this pavilion is the home of an oriental restaurant called Jade Pavilion. After more than 4 years of saying 'We really ought to eat there' we finally got round to doing so a few weeks back. I phoned ahead on Saturday and despite understanding barely a word from the man on the phone, I was pretty sure I'd succeeded in getting a booking ...
Advantages: It has a Casino and also near Manila attractions Disadvantages: The location is not very nice
A lot of people, mostly foreign tourists, flock to the Manila Pavilion because of the Casino (there are only two casinos in Metro Manila) but other than that, I do not find the hotel to be outstanding. There are always a lot of people in the lobby, thus, making it feel a bit crowded. It could use more elegance in its design and decorations especially for the lobby. However, it has such a homey atmosphere and won?t make one feel intimidated.
My family and I stayed at Manila Pavilion one weekend but we may not be back in the near future. It?s not that we don?t like the hotel but I think I?d rather try other accommodations in the area. The rooms are of standard size with the usual amenities - coffee/tea making facilities, bathrobes and slippers, and various toiletries. The staff is okay although they offer nothing out of the ordinary ...
A must see on any visit to Brighton is The Royal Pavilion. If you spend the day out in Brighton it's a fantastic town for walking and sight seeing and is easy to find hip things to do wherever you walk. Head on down to The Pavilion which is in the middle of town. This building was originally built by the prince regent and is a trip to set eyes upon. It looks like the taj-mahal, and is beautiful day or night to look at. Its one of the things that makes Brighton special and weird at the same time, and there's alwys something going on neraby thats wierd or special as well...a classical four piece band or a street performer doing an experimental break dance routine. Good place to hook up with some like minded day trippers and carrry on clubbing or pubbing. ...
