The Peacock Inn in Kings Norton is a pub I've been going to since I was a child; it's a small out-of-the-way place, at one time it was primarily a drinking pub (albeit a gorgeously gentrified one) but over the last few years has had a total revamp and is now a rather upper class eatery. I usually go with my mum (rock n' roll) at lunchtime and have been several times over the past few months. My favourite meal by far is the Surf & Turf which is a delicious steak and king prawn combination, served with chips and a tiny salad.
