    Advantages Advantages Non Smoking, non Gambling, small hotel

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Not a "strip" hotel

    We have recently spent six nights at the Platinum Hotel and Spa in Las Vegas. I had booked a great rate direct with the hotel, but I did wonder as a first (and probably last) time visitor to LV whether I would regret not staying on the strip and in one of the iconic hotels such as Bellagio or Venetian. However the expensive resort fees and the fact we needed to maximise our budget for the rest of the trip meant we decided to stay with the Platinum. And I am so glad we did.
