The garden is of the Plough is really beautiful. The owner has spent a lot of time ( and money) landscaping it and there are water features, planters and decorative features everywhere - it is a really lovely place to stop on a summers day for a drink or a meal.
Between Easter and October there is a 12M x 6M marquee that is available for hire for special events - it is also a handy place to eat if the rain starts.

THE FOOD
The food at The Plough is not cheap - the main meals range from £8.95 to £14.50 but they are very good and you get a huge portion.
The baguettes (from £5.50 - £6.50) are very good - you get a huge filled baguette with salad and you can add a portion of their fantastic chips for £2.25.
The chips here are a 'must have' - The Plough run a 'Real Chip Campaign' They claim that they serve up over half a ton a week of their home fried chips using Maris Piper potatoes. - and take it from me - they are wonderful - if rather pricy at £2.25 per portion.
