Advantages: Good Value , lovely setting , handy for the theatre , great food Disadvantages: None for me
Kingston-Upon-Hull , or as it is usually known locally Hull , is situated on the north bank of the River Humber in the county of East Yorkshire . If you are visiting the City from the south you will find the Humber Bridge provides much quicker access than of old . However there is a toll .
The City itself has numerous , free museums , the Ferens Art Gallery , the Deep ( pay to enter ) , a few new shopping centres ( the St. Stephens project still being under construction ) and a couple of theatres ( Hull Truck and the New theatre ) If you decide to visit check out via the local tourist office .
If you are looking for a centrally based place to stay , look no further than the Kingston Theatre Hotel . If you just want a good place to pop in , and wine and dine , then this is also the place for you .

Hull's New Theatre is in Kingston Square , Kingston-Upon-Hull , Hu1 3HF

After the overwhelming response to my Lelant Review, I have followed it up with a review of Portland, this review is a little long, but I have tried to mix all the relevant parts together to make it a bit more interesting. I've looked at the people, the tourist attractions, and the facilities.
Portland is a rather large island off the coast of Dorset. Some people do not regard Portland as an island as it's attached to the mainland, however I assure you it is. Originally the only thing connecting Portland with the Mainland was Chesil Beach, but even this only connected at Abbotsbury some 12 miles from the start. Stretching from Dead Man's Bay, Portland to West Bay, Bridport; Chesil beach is the longest "natural" beach in the world totalling 18 miles. In the late 1800's work began on connecting the mainland by bridge at a point ...
