(+) Beautiful beach hotel in the most buzzing area of Dubai! (-) There is still construction surrounding the hotel, but everywhere has to start somewhere.
Advantages: first ski slopes in Dubai, one of a kind, lots to do, family fun Disadvantages: a sore bum from falling down so much!
.... Due to the location it very easy to get there and accessible, you can get any cab to take you there. Tourists staying at the Kempinski Hotel have access to the slopes just like the guests of Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach hotels' guests have access to Wild Wadi.
SKI SLOPES OF DUBAI
Upon entering the skiing area you do not feel as though you are in Dubai it is something that is both out of the norm and also fantastic beyond belief. Previously you were only able to sand board on Dubais sand dunes, now you can snowboard! There are 5 slopes ranging from very hard or expert skier to ameteur. don't worry if you cannot ski, like me, there are instructors to guide you through this adventure. The ticket price includes the use of equipment, snow boots, clothing etc so you do not have to arrive kitted out in skiwear in Dubais sweltering heat...

Advantages: fantastic service/weather Disadvantages: building work!
...I first visited Dubai in April 02 not knowing quite what to expect.Fortunately I went on a trip through work and had to review and inspect certain hotels.
Very little sets the hotels apart as they are all from an incredible standard.Though I have to say Le Meridien Royal Beach Spa is now my firm favourite. The service is amazing, although I experienced that in all hotels.
Dubai as a city is great. The people are very friendly and courteous and so long as you respect that it is a muslim culture you will not feel uncomfortable going throught he souks etc...
It is absolutely essentail to go on a jeep safari into the desert .Arabian adventures do a great night one.
I have returned to Dubai 4 times now and my only gripe is that there is so much building work going on due to 'the palm' and the increased popularity of the place.I hope it does...

Advantages: Beautiful beach hotel in the most buzzing area of Dubai! Disadvantages: There is still construction surrounding the hotel, but everywhere has to start somewhere.
...Before I go into the details of the hotel itself and the available facilities, I would like to say that I have been a resident in Dubai for 11 years now and have seen everything this hotel has been through from its own construction, the problems it faced with the jumeirah beach residence project right through to today! The Hilton, built in an area that used to be considered as 'out in the middle of nowhere' is now very much apart of what is soon likely to be the centre of Dubai, the Dubai Marina. This is the new, futuristic, modern end of the Emirate of Dubai and is where it all happens. The majority of the beach clubs and restaurants are in this area of town and it is suitabley located to allow for fairly speedy access to the rest of Dubai.
The hotel is a short taxi ride away from the Mall of the Emirates and Ibn Battuta Mall. Coming...

The Burj-Al-Arab (Arabian Tower) is Dubai and the UAE's answer to the landmark symbols of other countries, they compare it to the Eiffel tower (it's slightly taller by virtue of its mast) and other icons.
The Burj is said to be the world's only 7 star more
A lot can happen in a space of a few years but never more so than in Dubai; it's currently a massive construction site but in the nicest sort of way! The last time I visited Dubai in 2002, I stayed at Oasis Beach Hotel in Jumeirah. At that time the... more
My impressions of this game when I saw it advertised on the internet was that it looked like a completely different type of game that I'm used to seeing for the DS.

To best describe Hotel Dusk you could say it is an interactive novel in... more
